January 2025 – As the new President took office, a wave of concern swept through our community. Citizens began voicing unease about the administration’s direction, especially as cabinet nominations revealed a stark departure from the norms of past democratically elected governments.

February 2025 – The nation and the world watched as a series of executive orders, widely criticized as unconstitutional and unlawful, were issued. In response, our group of concerned citizens began reaching out, connecting with like-minded individuals and organizations. While the shared desire to resist was palpable, the lack of coordination created challenges —energy was abundant, but clarity was scarce.

March 2025 – Determined to overcome these challenges, a core group of resistance leaders united to find a solution. We envisioned a central hub—a website or social media platform—that could serve as a clearinghouse for information and a rallying point for action.

April 2025 – Through outreach and collaboration, a dedicated team of ten came together to brainstorm how best to support one another. From this effort, the idea of forming a coalition was born—a coalition of diverse individuals with shared concerns about the administration’s actions. While our perspectives varied, our commitment to resistance united us.

This collaboration laid the foundation for NCW CHANNEL Z, a platform born from the belief that collective action can drive meaningful change.
